I have always been interested in the property market. Having bought and sold many times before moving into Real Estate myself, I know the many stresses and pitfalls that are associated with the buying and selling process. It is one time that you do need sound advice. You do need an objective opinion. You do need to have someone working for you who is a skilled negotiator and dedicated professional. You also need to be able to discuss options with someone who has “been there and done that”. I can make the buying and selling process not only rewarding for you, but can make it a “hassle free” experience that delivers the results you want

David’s career and achievements:
Prior to embarking on a Real Estate career, David was involved in the Travel and Tourism Industry for over 20 years. In that Industry, his experience embraced the roles of Travel Agent, providing inflight services for Ansett, airline sales for the Government and latterly, managing a leading private training establishment offering training to the airline and tourism industry. All in all, a comprehensive background in an industry that prospers on quality customer service, which is so very much akin to the Real Estate Industry.
David has bought and sold a number of properties himself so is familiar and sympathetic to the stresses of buying and selling. He is also adept at home renovating and offers an insight and ideas to his clients in respect of opportunities for enhancing the value of their personal home or investment property.
In his first year in Real Estate alone, David exceeded $15 million in Residential Sales and has performed consistently well ever since. His willingness to get the Job done and deliver a result that pleases is what has led to his success in Real Estate. “I am only happy that a good job has been done, when my customers are happy – this is the work benchmark I have always applied.”
Apart from a very busy and happy family life, which occupies the majority of his time outside Real Estate, David has travelled extensively in the past and travel figures highly on his priority list for the future. That is of course secondary to assisting you in achieving your personal Real Estate dreams.
David’s interests and passions:
“I love to travel. Having been in the travel & tourism industry for many years before entering into Real Estate, it has always been so much a part of my life. I am a “big city” person and love the bright lights of all the big cities of the world. New York, London and Hong Kong are particular favourites. I’m not really the safari type – although I do want to take my family to the Northern Territory of Australia as the wildlife there is some of the best in the world.”
“I really love my work though – and I think this is what sets a very good Real Estate agent apart from the rest. You have to want to be involved in what you are doing and what’s going on and not just see it as a job. I wouldn’t want to do anything else.” Whether it’s first home buyers with all the questions in the world or the astute investor who wants a quick sale. You have to be prepared to step right in and meet the expectation from day one”.
“I am very much a family man also – and as mentioned, any time not involved with work is dedicated to my family. My wife and I, together with our three children Harrison, Phoebe and Charlotte, try and have at least a few breaks throughout the year – just go away for a night or two to recharge the batteries. There are so many places close to Wellington that you can get to for a break. It’s a great place to live.”
